History of BMX (2025-2026)
History of BMX year 2025
January 10th. To all of you readers of this site, we do wish you a HAPPY and HEALTHY 2025. It is 50 years ago that I discovered the sport of BICYCLE MOTO-CROSS, BMX. September 1974 I did spent several week in the USA in the Kansas City and St. Louis area for mnotorcycle moto-cross activities. At a local Yamaha dealer I saw the first ever BMX bikes 20 inch full suspension by Yamaha. Since then up till this day I have been involved in BMX, introduced the sport in The Netherl;and (Holland) and I helped informing other European potential promotors/organizers to introduce BMX in their countries. I want to celebrate these 50 years of involment by publising ad random, pictures, articles, important letters, opinions and so on. Hope you all will enjoy "the History of BMX" as I know it.
