We at the University of BMX want to express our respect for those two riders, who are considered roll-models for future BMX racers. To have a career lasting as long as theirs, one must be absolutely dedicated to the sport. I understand at least Denis will compete in one more international event and that will be the 2004 UCI-BMX Worlds in Valkenswaard - Holland, July 2004.

To both men, thanks for your role in the international BMX scene and good luck with your lives up and ahead.
