Old Skool BMX'ers FRANCK ROMAN (F) and winner of a leg in the World Cup series in 1995 more specific the downhill in Mont-Ste-Anne. Former BMX World Champion Roman is getting involved in cycling again. Franck has been asked by the UCI to become the official designer of 4-Cross (4X) tracks. 4-Cross concerns a downhill track, wide enough for 4 riders to compete. A race should take about 45 seconds and the fist 2 finishers in each moto will qualify automatically. The 3rd finisher will get another change in the re-run. This type of cycle racing gives a lot of spectacular actions, although they concern mainly riders kicking eachother off their bikes. In my opinion too much contact and to less real competition/racing.
